Sahen vs Sprwt

Updated October 31, 2026

What Sprwt is

Sprwt describes itself as an all-in-one meal prep and catering software platform. It combines marketing tools, a recipe builder and customer order management, and adds a POS plus employee scheduling and timesheets. Its site says it serves meal prep delivery businesses, caterers, restaurants and kitchen owners, with separate pages for healthcare providers and personal chefs.

Customers can make single purchases or subscribe, and a subscription management dashboard lets the kitchen control their orders. In the kitchen, Sprwt generates cooking reports, shopping lists that account for trim, packing organization, labels and sales reports, and it tracks dietary needs, allergens and nutrition. Marketing features include referrals, loyalty, coupons and text messaging. For delivery, the site links to a separate route optimization product. Sprwt says onboarding can take as little as 7 days.

Sahen is an operating system for meal-subscription kitchens built around one daily loop: weekly menu, subscriber picks per eating day, one automatic cutoff, a production sheet, and delivery through a driver app.

Where Sprwt is stronger

  • Breadth of the business. A POS for in-store sales, employee scheduling and timesheets, and catering tools sit next to meal prep. Sahen has no POS and no staff scheduling.
  • Purchasing. Shopping lists that account for trim help with buying and food cost. Sahen produces quantities per meal and component, not purchase lists.
  • Allergen and nutrition tracking. Dietary and allergen tracking are named features.
  • Marketing. Referrals, loyalty, coupons and text messaging are built in. Sahen does not do customer acquisition.
  • Wider audience. Restaurants, caterers, healthcare providers and personal chefs are all served.

Where Sahen is stronger

  • A focused daily loop. Sahen is built only for subscription kitchens: one automatic daily cutoff freezes all picks, and the production sheet follows from it. Sprwt does not publish how cutoffs work. Read how cutoff works.
  • Driver app included. Zones, manifests, 80mm bag receipts with QR codes, and customer push notifications at each delivery stage come in the same product. Sprwt links to a separate route product.
  • Branded mobile apps. Subscribers pick meals in an iOS and Android app in your kitchen's name. Sprwt does not publish branded mobile apps.
  • Prepaid credits with a ledger. Meal-credit packs live in an append-only ledger, so every balance can be explained line by line.
  • Local payments, no commission. Cash on delivery, bank transfer with a reference, and CliQ in Jordan, with no per-order commission.
  • Arabic and RTL. The customer app works in English and Arabic with a full right-to-left layout. Sprwt does not publish language support.
  • Try before you talk. Sahen has a 14-day trial with no card. Sprwt's home page offers a demo, not a trial.

Pricing model

Sprwt's home page links to separate meal prep and catering pricing pages, but we could not load a price on 2026-10-31, so we list its pricing as not published here. Ask Sprwt directly for a quote.

Sahen charges a flat monthly or yearly fee based on active subscriptions, with tiers up to 50, 200 and 1,000. Yearly costs ten times the monthly fee, there is no setup fee and no per-order commission. See pricing.

Who should choose which

Choose Sprwt if your kitchen is also a shop or a catering business, you want a POS and staff scheduling in the same system, or purchasing and food cost are your biggest problems.

Choose Sahen if your business is subscribers eating from you most days, you deliver with your own drivers, your customers pay cash or by bank transfer, you want your own branded app, or you work in Arabic.

Keep in mind that Sahen is a young product with invite-only onboarding and no card payments yet. If you need cards on day one, it is not the right choice today.
