Sahen vs GoPrep
Updated October 31, 2026
What GoPrep is
GoPrep calls itself the first all-in-one meal prep and catering management platform. Its site says it serves solo chefs and small local kitchens, multi-location franchises and large enterprise food producers.
Customers can order weekly or monthly with a discount and change meals between renewals. Kitchens can set cutoff periods for orders, and get meal and ingredient production reports, order summaries, printable packing slips, labels and nutrition facts. A delivery route report suggests an optimized route. On the branding side, GoPrep offers custom menu branding, custom email branding, custom domains and templated WordPress websites. Marketing tools include SMS messaging, gift cards, referral programs, promotions and abandoned cart emails.
Sahen is an operating system for meal-subscription kitchens built around one daily loop: weekly menu, subscriber picks per eating day, one automatic cutoff, a production sheet, and delivery through a driver app.

Where GoPrep is stronger
- Card payments. GoPrep runs on Stripe, which pays out to your bank roughly every 24 hours. Sahen has no card gateway yet.
- Marketing. SMS, gift cards, referrals, promotions and abandoned cart emails are all listed. Sahen does not do customer acquisition.
- Websites. Custom domains and templated WordPress websites, with optional SEO and hosting add-ons on its pricing page.
- Catering and scale. GoPrep covers catering and multi-location franchises, and offers an Enterprise plan.
- Published, transparent pricing. Its plans and fees are on its site, and onboarding is self-serve. Sahen onboarding is by invitation.
Where Sahen is stronger
- Driver app. Sahen includes a driver app with zones, manifests, 80mm bag receipts with QR codes, and customer push notifications at each delivery stage. GoPrep publishes a route report, not a driver app.
- Branded mobile apps. Subscribers use an iOS and Android app in your kitchen's name. GoPrep publishes branded menus, emails and domains, but not branded mobile apps.
- One automatic cutoff per day. Both products support cutoffs. In Sahen, a single daily cutoff freezes every order and builds the production sheet with quantities per meal and per component. Read how cutoff works.
- Prepaid credits with a ledger. Meal-credit packs live in an append-only ledger, so balances are never a matter of memory.
- No per-order commission. GoPrep charges an application fee on each order. Sahen does not.
- Cash, bank transfer and CliQ. Built for markets where most subscribers do not pay by card.
- Arabic and RTL. The customer app works in English and Arabic with a full right-to-left layout. GoPrep does not publish language support.

Pricing model
GoPrep's Starter plan was listed from $95/month on their site on 2026-10-31, for up to 100 orders a month, with a 1.5% application fee. The Pro plan removes the order cap and lowers the fee to 1.35%, and Enterprise is priced on request. By default the application fee is passed to your customers, though you can absorb or split it; for cash orders with no online payment, the store pays it. Stripe processing at 2.9% + 30¢ applies to card payments. GoPrep says there are no startup fees, and full access starts once you pay the first month. It offers no free trial, but includes 30 days of onboarding help.
Sahen charges a flat monthly or yearly fee based on active subscriptions, with tiers up to 50, 200 and 1,000. Yearly costs ten times the monthly fee, there is no setup fee, no application fee and no per-order commission, and the 14-day trial needs no card. Your cost does not grow with each order. Who should choose which
Choose GoPrep if you take card payments, sell in North America, want rich marketing tools and a website from the same vendor, run catering or several locations, or want to sign up today without an invitation.
Choose Sahen if your subscribers pay cash or by bank transfer, you deliver with your own drivers, you want your own branded app, you work in Arabic, or you would rather pay a flat fee than a percentage of every order.
